We are a joyous and inclusive Catholic school, inspired by the love of God and the teachings of Jesus, specifically love, courage, humility, kindness and peace.
- Love- We try to be like Jesus and always keep him in our hearts
- Kindness- We live our mission by showing kindness through our relationship with God, caring for one another, and respecting all of creation
- Courage- We stand up for what is right , even when it is difficult
- Humility- We understand that we are all different but we respect each other
- Peace- We treasure after our world so that we may share it together in peace with Jesus.
Our mission statement, “Our School, Our Family. Modelled on Christ,” is a lived reality embedded in every aspect of school life. We are proud to be a supportive, joyful, and inclusive community where each pupil is valued and nurtured as a unique child of God
Our values are rooted deeply in the Gospel and the teachings of Jesus Christ. They are the foundation of our school community and guide all we do
- Love : Jesus said that the greatest 2 commandments are ‘ to love the Lord your God with all heart , soul and mind and the second is ‘ to love your neighbor as yourself’ The commandments inspire us to love unconditionally and seek justice for all, especially the vulnerable and marginalised.
- Kindness : We actively foster kindness and fairness in our relationships and decisions and encourage pupils and staff to show compassion, to forgive mistakes, and to build a community where reconciliation is possible.
- Courage: We are dedicated to fostering a community grounded in integrity and respect. We encourage every pupil to demonstrate courage and stand firm in what is right, even when faced with difficulties. Through this commitment, we nurture resilience, moral strength, and a shared responsibility to support one another in our pursuit of excellence.
- Humility: We are the guardians of the peace Jesus gave us. We recognise our own strengths and weaknesses and approach others with respect and openness, valuing each person’s dignity.
- Peace: Honesty and a commitment to peace underpin our actions, helping us to build trust and harmony within our school family, locally and globally.
These values are not abstract ideals but are actively lived out in our school’s daily life, shaping policies, interactions, and are at the heart of our REACH curriculum.
